Tenant credit report
A rental history credit report, also known as a rental history report or tenant screening report, is a document that provides information about an individual’s rental payment history and other relevant details to potential landlords or property managers. These reports are typically used by landlords or property management companies to evaluate the suitability of prospective tenants.
The Federal government announced that they are instructing the credit bureaus to incorporate the rental history in consumer credit report. This will provide landlords with more tools to screen potential renters.
